The TRICA study (NCT03923127) is a prospective, single-center study that evaluates the diagnostic performance of wearable sensors in postoperative patients, conducted in collaboration with CZE, Philips, and TU/e.
primary objective:
The aim of the study was to develop a Remote Early Warning Scoring (REWS) system based on continuous heart rate and respiratory rate measurements using the wearable biosensor, Healthdot. The diagnostic performance of REWS was compared to the traditional Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) in detecting patient deterioration.
