smartQare and GrafiMedics partner to expand remote patient monitoring in the Netherlands

smartQare and GrafiMedics, a key supplier of medical equipment in the Netherlands, have signed a distribution agreement to enhance access to remote patient monitoring solutions across the Dutch healthcare sector. The agreement was signed today by Johan Vooren, CCO of smartQare and Richard Kruidhof, CEO of GrafiMedics,.
GrafiMedics, known for distributing Philips patient monitoring solutions, will now collaborate with smartQare to bring cutting-edge remote monitoring devices, including viQtor and Healthdot, to hospitals environments. This partnership strengthens smartQare’s recent strategic collaboration with Philips, through which the Healthdot activities were acquired.
viQtor, developed by smartQare, is an advanced medical wearable designed for continuous monitoring of vital signs, particularly for general ward patient monitoring and out-of-hospital care. Equipped with emergency detection features, real-time health data, and IoT connectivity, viQtor supports timely interventions and improved patient outcomes.
Healthdot is a wearable biosensor that continuously measures heart rate, respiratory rate, posture, and activity. Used in hospitals and at home, it has already proven effective in post-operative care pathways, such as bariatric surgery.
Both solutions securely transmit data via IoT-enabled mobile connections, ensuring seamless integration into existing healthcare platforms, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs). By joining forces, smartQare and GrafiMedics aim to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and empower healthcare professionals with real-time, continuous monitoring.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in delivering innovative, scalable solutions for modern healthcare in the Netherlands.
