Backend Developer

Do you have a background as a Backend Developer, Tester, or System Tester? At smartQare, you can play a crucial role in the further development of our medically certified solution. You will contribute to our cloud platform and help improve the quality of care in hospitals. At smartQare, you have the opportunity to make a real impact—both nationally and internationally. In this versatile role, your focus will be on a combination of backend development and test automation, with involvement in system testing. You won't be working alone— you'll collaborate with a team of professionals.

Your profile

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about technology and eager to tackle the complexities of a medical solution. Your work will ensure that healthcare professionals have reliable real-time patient data, enabling them to enhance care quality and patient safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and/or Cloud Computing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with backend development (e.g., Java, Golang), testing (manual and automated, e.g., with Python), or system testing (hardware/software integration).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD and test automation tools is a plus.
  • Affinity with the healthcare sector and knowledge of medical regulations such as ISO 13485, 21CFR820, and GDPR is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and team spirit.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
